Activities and Timelines Once the Request for Proposals is Published

Activities and Timelines Once the Request for Proposals is Published

Introduction

  • As previously noted, we have “reverse-engineered” the seven-part Grant Application to help you work effectively and in a time-efficient way.
  • Instead of a sequential Part 1-to-Part 7 approach to writing the Grant proposal, please follow the re-sequenced process below. . . on the designated, linked website pages.
  • You will have to fit this sequence into the timeframe provided by the U.S. Department of Education for the grant’s submission. For these Grants, you have 30 days from the official publishing of the Request for Proposals (RFP) to the actual submission.
  • Remember that I will be writing most of the Grant Narrative for you and an organizational draft of the Budget Narrative. . . and I cannot begin writing until I see, analyze, and organize the RFP. . . thus, I am bound by the same deadlines as you.
  • Remember also that I have a Grant Evaluator ready to be written into the Grant if you want. If you choose to recruit and use your own Grant Evaluator, that section of the Grant Narrative will need to be adapted (along with including his/her Vita in the Appendices).
